WORK founders Dane and Kara Miklaus had a combined 18 years of experience in fitness at gyms, studios, and therapy clinics before venturing out on their own. While the overall value-proposition of the personal fitness industry is one of service, the couple felt that in all their experience with other companies one glaring thing was always missing: the personal part. 

All too often, gyms and studios treat their clientele like mere data points. It's as if, instead of having hearts and souls, every body in the building is looked at as a walking dollar sign. Dane and Kara wanted to change that. With a mission to improve the world through physical exercise and nutrition coaching, the couple set out to do so in the setting of a positive and uplifting community environment. On August 24th, 2015, WORK was born. 

Fast-forward to today. Years later and the mission hasn't changed. We know that when people are at their best, the world is truly a better place. So TeamWORK strives every day to help everyone feel loved, welcomed, and like badass athletes! WORK Merch is an extension of that.

The products in this store are carefully selected to be of a superior quality and craftsmanship. We listen to customer feedback, update designs consistently, and source products from suppliers that are certified to uphold fair and equitable labor practices. Most of the items are manufactured and assembled in the United States. In order to operate in the most environmentally friendly and lowest carbon-impactful way, we operate with a made-to-order model. This means that we don't carry inventory or mass produce anything. Instead, what you order is what we make, exactly and precisely for YOU! Because of this, all items are purchased without the option for returns or exchanges, so please pay close attention to label and sizing information before purchasing. If there is an error made on our part or that of our suppliers, we will absolutely make sure to correct it. Otherwise, all items you receive are yours to keep.
